The Author Ecosystem is owned and operated by On3World Source LLC, a United States limited liability company. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it means On3World Source LLC. When it says "you" or "your," it means the individual accessing or using any platform in the Author Ecosystem.

These platforms are intended for use by adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or join the waitlist. By using our platforms, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. What information we collect

Information you provide directly

• Your name, when provided during account creation or waitlist signup
• Your email address, when you join the waitlist, create an account, or contact us
• Payment information, including billing name, card details, and billing address, when you subscribe to a paid plan. Payment data is processed by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data including pages visited, features used, time spent, and actions taken within the platforms
• Device and browser information including IP address, browser type, operating system, and screen size
• QR scan events including scan timestamp, approximate location derived from IP address, and the destination URL associated with the scan
• Referral and traffic source data, including how you arrived at a platform
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies, described in Section 5 below

Information we do not collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, government identification, precise GPS location, or sensitive personal categories such as health, race, religion, or political affiliation.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and improve the Author Ecosystem platforms
• Provide the features and tools you access, including AI-generated content and analytics
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmations, receipts, and product updates
• Send marketing communications if you have opted in, such as waitlist updates and product announcements
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve platform performance and features
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information to serve you advertising from third-party advertisers.

4. How we share your information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers

We work with trusted third-party services that process data on our behalf. These include:

• Stripe — payment processing
• ConvertKit (Kit) — email list management and marketing communications
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
• Anthropic — AI-powered content generation features

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing terms. We require that these providers use your data only to perform services on our behalf.

Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of On3World Source LLC, our users, or the public.

Business transfers

If On3World Source LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our platforms before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our platforms and understand how they are used. Specifically:

• Essential cookies that are required for the platforms to function, including session authentication
• Analytics cookies that help us understand usage patterns and improve our platforms
• Preference cookies that remember your settings between sessions

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the platforms from functioning correctly. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

Waitlist subscribers who have not converted to an account may be removed from our list after 24 months of inactivity.

7. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include encrypted data transmission, access controls, and secure infrastructure provided by our hosting and database partners.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information using industry-standard practices.

8. Your rights and choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — you may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion — you may request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
• Opt-out of marketing — you may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send
• Data portability — you may request your data in a portable format where technically feasible

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10 below. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's privacy

The Author Ecosystem platforms are intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on our platforms. Your continued use of the Author Ecosystem after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
